Opened in 1979, the restaurant described by Givenchy as a “Precious Jewel Box” is one of the most beautiful and successful restaurants in New York City.  Over the years, it has become famous for hosting some of New York’s most exciting and important parties for museums, artists and fashion houses.  Serving high Chinese Cuisine with impeccable service, Executive Chef Li Hong at 57th Street is one of the most important chefs from China. Chef Li won many awards, including the “Annual Chef Cooking Competition Award” in Shanghai, the “Lu Yang Cup” Award in Shanghai, and the “Specialty Dish Presentation” Award. The menu at MR CHOW is a combination of old authentic Beijing and Original Recipes. Chicken Sate, MR CHOW Noodles and Ma Mignon all were created by our passionate and skillful chefs. Opened in 2006, this is the second post in NYC to the original on 57th Street. Mr Chow’s latest & hippest location attracts clients from the music, art and fashion industries. The Dining Room is designed in black and white lacquer with original artworks by Julian Schnabel, Andy Warhol and Helmut Newton. On warm evenings, clients can enjoy dining on the outside patio. The attractive bar opens at 5:00PM daily, welcoming all guests for specialty cocktails and champagnes.
